In celebration of the 50th year Anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, a key milestone in the formation of the European Union, the Delegation of the European Commission to the Philippines launched for the second time “Europe ko’ to”. The on-the-spot contest held at The Podium invited schools all over Metro Manila to express their views, through colored pencils and crayons, on what the European Union means.

The audience was honoured to have Mr. Roger De Backer, Deputy Head of the Operations Section, of the Delegation of the European Commission to the Philippines to judge the artworks of the kids and to give a short message on behalf of Ambassador Alistair MacDonald.
