In celebration of the 50th year Anniversary
of the Treaty of Rome, a key milestone in the formation of the European
Union, the Delegation of the European Commission to the Philippines launched
for the second time “Europe ko’ to”. The on-the-spot
contest held at The Podium invited schools all over Metro Manila to express
their views, through colored pencils and crayons, on what the European
Union means. |

The audience was honoured to have Mr.
Roger De Backer, Deputy Head of the Operations Section, of the Delegation
of the European Commission to the Philippines to judge the artworks of
the kids and to give a short message on behalf of Ambassador Alistair
MacDonald. |
